McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama

Between Florence and the Tennessee River, McFarland park provides a nearby spot for birding in The Shoals. As seen in the photo below, the south bank (Colbert County side) contains many steep cliffs.

McFarland Park is left of Highway 20 as you head west from Florence. Further down Highway 20 (to the west) are Key Cave Wildlife Refuge, and County Road 2.
